Part Time Administrative Assistant
Location: Baltimore, MD
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Administrative Office Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our office. The ideal candidate will assist with administrative tasks, maintain office organization, help manage vendor relationships, and support contract-related functions, ensuring smooth and efficient office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other inquiries, providing excellent customer service
- Greet visitors and ensure they are directed to the appropriate department or individual
- Maintain and organize office files, both physical and digital
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory
- Assist with vendor management, including maintaining vendor contacts
- Help with contract management by preparing, organizing, and reviewing contracts for accuracy and completeness, as well as ensuring deadlines are met
- Perform general clerical duties and other administrative tasks as requested
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office assistant role is preferred
- Experience with vendor management and contract administration is a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- A friendly and professional demeanor
Work Schedule:
- This is a part-time position requiring approximately 16-24 hours per week, with flexible hours based on availability
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience $20-$30/hour
